Welcome to 'My Horse Girl Club'...My name is Aotea and I've loved horses ever since my dad placed me on a small shetland pony, when I was only two years old...

I'm now nearly eight years old and with a bit of help from my dad, I'm developing this website to create a community of other horse crazy girls around the world and to share my passion for the most amazing, noble animal in the whole wide universe...

My Arabian horse "Gaia" & me the horse girl

Before I had turned three, my brothers and I, had ridden this pony over three hundred times along a ten kilometre, desolate stretch of ocean beach in Kawhia, New Zealand...We're triplets by the way...

I've still much to learn about this majestic creature, but I've realised that to get the most pleasure, and the best results, from our horses and ponies, it is very important we should love and care for them...and try to understand their natural behaviour patterns...

To make 'My Horse Girl Club' truly interactive, we will place a comments form on each topic we cover, so that anyone can share their horse or pony story, picture, or video...
