Learning about horse breeds is going to be one of my life's quests...After all, it's taken millions of years since the first primitive breed of horses have evolved into the magnificent and beautiful creatures they are now...
I want to know everything about them...Why some are called hot bloods...warm bloods...or cold bloods...and which ones are classified as types or pure breds...
I also want to find out how each breed originated and how they developed their individual characteristic's...like conformation, action and temperament...And how come certain horses have specific markings and colors?...
The following video profiles many different types of horses...Is your's there?...
I have a million questions to be answered about horses...and my dad doesn't know all of the answers...He said there's too much to learn in one lifetime...and it's up to me to study what interests me in the equestrian world...on my own journey of discovery...
My dad said there are over two hundred horse breeds in the world...So I've got a lot of learning to do...My favourite one's so far, are the Arabian...Appaloosa...Welsh and Shetland pony...
